Mens Captains' Report 2022

2022 has been a wonderful year for our bowling club with the weather warm and mostly dry.

The Mens A Team were Division 2 Champions and will play in the top Division next year which will be our Centenary Year.

The B Team were also in the running for promotion for a time.

Our two mixed teams in the BML also had a successful year, both winning promotion.

The success reflects the work put in by the Mens Committee and especially our Secretary, Nick Hatfield, my two Vice Captains, Dave Wells and Tony Tack.

Thank you for making my job so easy.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my year as Mens Captain, the bowling of course, but also representing you on the Management Committee.

It only remains to wish our incoming Captain, Ned Waddock, and his new committee a happy and prosperous 2023.
