Mercian Travel invitation tour of Tunisia
What a superb break with Mercian Travel showing off the delights of Tunisia. This was not just a bowling break but a tour of this wonderful country. Mercian Travel invited 12 people all from the bowls world to join them in a tour starting of with the fabulous hotel Bellevue Park, the new bowling green, a coach trip to Monastair & Sousse, a evening trip to see a laser show about the history of Tunisia. The following day we were to go on a boat trip but the sea was a bit choppy so we opted for another coach trip this time to El Jem to see the coliseum where many years ago the gladiators fought. Back at the hotel some of us even tried the delights of the Wellness Centre indulging in a massage and beauty treatments, or just relaxed around the pool. We all looked forward to our evening meal which was beautifully prepared in a buffet style with as many dishes as you could wish for. All too soon the fact finding tour was at an end and we all headed for the airport to catch our plane and have time to remeber all the wonderful things we had experienced with promises that we would be back soon.
