Bowling Holidays
As you can see by clicking onto the slide show the weather was excellent even though it rained for an hour one morning it didn't deter our play once the sun came out. What a beautiful green, not too fast and quite narrow which allowed for good play and made the competitions all the better, which was just as well as we needed the exercise to walk off the wonderful buffet style meals, I am sure we all went out with good ententions of not overeating but it's very difficult when presented with such an array of dishes. Unfortunately not many of us ventured into the outdoor pool, but did enjoy the poolside restaurant and bar. A few ladies even tried the massage rooms hoping to shed a few extra pounds and aches and pains from so much bowling and laughter. The evenings were wiled away watching the cabaret laid on by the staff, playing cards, dominoes or just drinking and talking away the hours till it was time for bed and the start of another enjoyable day.
